any network help

hello latly i have started playin a new gabe beside wow lotro, all has gon well till today when i got this message when i tried to log on
The underlying connection was closed: unable to connect to remote server
i have tried everything that google has suggested, have contacted there support, have y to here back, and short of a game re install

im not shure what to do??

would apreciate someones dedicated help on this

Unfortunately, this is an extremely vague description to analyze the situation with.
My first guess, but this would probably be obvious, is to turn off your firewall and check if that makes a difference. If that makes a difference, then the rules of the firewall probably changed.

Just a wild guess though.

check and check tried playing with proxie setting up exeptions it mentiond about turning p2p off for internet explora but have no idea how

ay cheers took me 5 hours of serchin the net only to find that it was windows firewall blocking the game,the ironic thina about that... i have it turned off as i have my own :S so had to make exeptions for the games .exe files bleedin hate windows

Aye. That's the problem with firewalls. They only block the programs you need.
