[K] Circle of Darnassus Elections

As you have all probably noticed, the Circle of Darnassus is short two Elders. To fill the void after Calisar Ravencrest and Elhdras Winterleaf we are looking for one Kaldorei of interracial understanding and subtlety for the Seat of Diplomacy and another Kaldorei with the insight and astuteness to fill the Seat of Wisdom.

The Elder of Diplomacy is the Ambassador of Darnassus. If Darnassus has need of traveling to other countries and cities to bring up issues, it is the Elder of Diplomacy that is sent. The Elder of Diplomacy will be required to keep an active communication with the other races and create good relations with them. The Elder of Diplomacy also works alongside the Speaker with the Darnassus laws, and handles crime issues and trials.

The Elder of Wisdom is in charge of education and culture in Darnassus. Is expected to make frequent educational or cultural events for the Kaldorei and hopefully to invite other races to learn more of Kaldorei culture.

Considering the state of the realm we do not really have the luxury of time for lengthy procedures and endless discussions, so we will be holding elections for the two seats in three days on the next gathering of the Circle of Darnassus ((Monday, October 18 at 21.00 server time)).

Given the short notice we will deter from the requirements of written applications and instead encourage applicants to simply send word – written or oral – to any existing Elder or the Speaker. Come Monday all applicants will given an opportunity to present and promote themselves and their candidature.

Unless else is warranted the future Elders of Diplomacy and Wisdom will then be chosen by a simple majority vote among the Kaldorei present at the gathering.

Great post! I know who I want for the diplomacy part, but I wonder who'll get the wisdom seat, hmm ...

I doubt they will keep up whether we speak Common or not though, Jon. :/ Poor stupid things

Will give the Dwarves some Moonglow... that'll keep them occupied
Will give the Gnomes something shiny... that'll keep them occupied
Will give the Humans a piece of paper that says "Turn!" on both sides... that'll keep them occupied... for hours...

We should make Jondalar the new elder of diplomacy I think >:]
