Hacked

So...basically, some fat kid hacked my e-mail and WoW account and changed the e-mail of the WoW account and deleted the notes from blizzard in my e-mail and i have no way (that i know) to get my account back. If i won't get the account back i probably will stop WoW.

The same happened to me, fill in a web form on their website. There's an option to select Account Compromised in one of the drop down fields. And you'll need a new email to give them, which they'll use to contact you.

Of course, make sure your computer is spyware free first!

I never had to do that, I think you don't have to if you have all your original cd keys and the answer to your secret question.

Yeah, but that's just it. This account is like, 4 or 5 years old. I don't have the CD key

Why not do their alternative thing? You can even phone them if you're daring and they'll sort it instantly.

Or just scan your ID and send off the webform.

This is by far the easiest way to sort these issues. The first time I got hacked, I sent them an email, and it took almost a month for me to get my account back. And let's not even talkabout the gold and gear, which took even longer!

The second time though, I phoned them, and within 2 hours, I had my account back, all my stash in the mailbox, and all my gold returned.

So absolutely, if you want it done quickly, do give them a call! ^^

get your account stolen. i guess i was lucky had all 3 cd keys and the last two time cards. still took a week to get back but getting all the stuff back wasnt a problem. just ticketed a gm and got all my gear back and all the iteams that were sold and still got to keep the gold.

giving them a call is the easiest. but have details a hand.
