White Cat
Elhdras leaves Darnassus, prepared again for the long travel ahead. Entering the boat that will take her to Darkshore, Elhdras is taken in thoughts of the Ashenvale forests held so dearer in her heart; many memories are unfolded, ones of nostalgia others of sadness. Although she tries to keep these thoughts away from her head, it’s to no avail.
The harbor has come in sight and Elhdras can feel Or’l restless to run, making it so difficult to prepare him for the travel ahead. Once the boat is anchored she leaves with haste, whishing with utmost strength to be there now, in the beautiful land she calls home.
Travelling for a whole day Elhdras finally reaches for Astraanar, where she lets Or’l by its self so he can tend to its needs. Near the lake, while changing her Elf form for a cat one, Elhdras hunts for small animals she could eat, eagerly waiting for the light of day to change. Finally day time had changed, with the sun replaced for a most glorious moon. Elhdras wakens for her slight slumber in a small den she has chosen nearby, heading now for a hidden place in the forest. In the veil of the night only her yellow eyes can be seen at times, reflecting the moon.
This place she so much visits has a strange sinuous path to follow and the end of it leads to a hollow tree with a stone inside of it. It is said that this stone contains in itself great power has for it is blessed too. Finally reaching her destination, Elhdras gazes the blessed stone from afar, memories of old days rushing thru her mind. Inside the hollow tree, Elhdras touches ever so gently the stone in which follows a warm feeling that spreads thru her whole body. Elhdras lies down beside the stone taken aback in memories.
Child laughter can be heard, echoing through the leaves.
Elhdras: Papa make me fly higher again, please!
Volaar: Shh Elhdras, not in here. This is a sacred place. I am here to teach you something.
Elhdras: But you told me we would play today!
Volaar: Later my child, I promise.
The child pouts slightly at the remark made by her father. Thru the path a male night elf with long white hair and leaf marks in his face, appears with a child in his shoulders. Grabbing his daughter by her waist Volaar puts Elhdras on the ground at his side, where she remains gazing her father.
Volaar: Once my Shan’do taught me this path leading to the hollow tree here and I am teaching it to you Elhdras. This stone has been blessed by Elune and it is said it holds great power. While you are here in this place – Volaar opens his arms motioning to the whole area – you can meditate and reckon on your path.
Elhdras gazes the stone not knowing if she is allowed to touch it.
Volaar: It has helped me with guidance thru my life. You see long ago, while I was meditating here, I saw an owl roaming the skies above and then I understood: I was to learn the teachings of the Druids of the Talon.
Elhdras: That’s why you are always flying papa?
Volaar nods.
Volaar: Elhdras, I want you to learn this place and come here often. Listen to the forest around you and you might learn immensely. Perhaps you might even found what Elune has planned for you.
Elhdras motions her hand to touch the stone. When she does so, a warm feeling spreads thru her. In the corner of her eye she thinks she saw what would be a white cat jumping in a tree nearby. Has time goes by in silence Volaar speaks:
– It is time for us to go home my child.
Grabbing Elhdras, Volaar puts her in his shoulders again, heading down the to the main road to Astraanar. When they reach the road an older child gazes them.
Isilme: Papa, you have been called in duty. Mama said she will wait for you in Winterspring.
Elhdras frowns has her father puts her on the ground. After kissing his daughters in farewell Volaar changes his form into a crow urging to meet Marui.
Isilme: Don’t be sad Elhdras, they always come back.
Watching her father fly way the child speaks.
Eldhras: Will you braid my hair?
Isilme nods.
Elhdras hears a noise and opens her eyes. Or’l appears behind a rock walking to the hollow tree, when he reaches it he lays down gazing the Elhdras. Changing her form into an Elf again Elhdras lets out a sigh.
Elhdras: I guess it is time to make haste again…
Once again the elf mounts her saber and heads to the main road. Glancing one last time to the hollow tree, she gazes what it seems to be a white cat.
Elhdras smiles so slightly.

Re: White Cat
(( Awesome story for druids :] The path choosing the person and the person finding it, it's awesome really ))
Re: White Cat
It's great, but.. shouldn't O'rl be dead by now? This is about 5 millennia ago, right? Sabers don't live that long.
