Re: True Blood
Hum, my apologies for the derail then, Melf, I didn't know it wasn't connected. "True Blood" + "Vampire" kinda makes for that connotation.

And there I was thinking this TV show is worth my attention...
The show is pretty adult. So yeah there are one or two like this, and not in the twilight gay way. Just like..Normal human gay way. A large contribution to this is because:
- Spoiler:
- Vampire blood is valuble in the series, it can be used as a healing measure on humans and acts as an illegal drug called "V" in the series. So it makes sense that humans of both genders will lick a vampires ass just to get his/her blood or be turned(To which most vampires disregard the requests). Heck, some humans will go as far as to abduct vampires and drain them dry.

Big fan of the series, but I'll wait and watch all the episodes once s3 is finished instead. Got too much stuff on my hands to watch now anyway. Therefore I'll also be avoiding this thread like the plague, just in case of spoilers! ;D

BRING BACK JERRY!!! I'm really loving the series now, it's a millions times better than the other one I was watching (Skins).
- Spoiler:
- I'm a bit disappointed in Sookie though. I loved how she was all innocent and stuff but she's given it up by like what, the fifth episode?! Psht. Anyways, what I really like about the show is the whole small town, red neck feel to it. And Tara too of course, she's hilarious haha!

Tara is an annoying whiny brat who should go ahead and &"#%&"#%&".
On the True Blood note, anyone here who's read the books?

Re: True Blood
I havn't read the books no. How many them are there?
And....
And....
- Spoiler:
- I watched episode three. It's good. I like how it's going in more directions for each character than previously and thats good. The 1860's flashback with Bill and Lerona was good also. HOWEVER...I dunno what to make of that ending....It was a bit fucked up and I was -not- expecting that. o_o. And there's just something cool about about having James Frain as an english vampire in it.

Re: True Blood
There's ten books at the moment I think it is, I read them all. Think there's more planned to come out as well, they're really good and gives me sense of knowing what's to come. For example...
- Spoiler:
- I squealed like a little girl when I saw Alceede. Much love to him. And I loved the episode. It was a strong ending to say the least, though I do have an idea of what to make of it, won't spoil that though ^^

Re: True Blood
Big fan of the series, just re-watched all the episodes.
Eric in season 2 makes me want vampires to exist for real and worship me.
Eric in season 2 makes me want vampires to exist for real and worship me.
- Spoiler:
- One thing that bothers me, though, is how V works. For Jason and his girl it was enough with one drop but those who took Bill drank like a whole lot of it without having their penises turn into aubergines? Why?? And the same things applies to when Sookie drinks from Bill or Eric.
I too like how wherewolves are portrayed, though I am pretty sure they are stronger than shifters. I got a bit confused when Bill killed them off so easily, though, I thought only silver could kill wherewolves?

You need to read more vampire lore to realise how an incredibly bad idea that is.

- Spoiler:
- Bill fed so his strength was renewed. Though it obviously isn't limited to silver but eh. They're not exactly undead remember. Though from what I understand if they drink vampire blood, they get empowered.
Still trying to understand the Estonian's chicks story though. So far all her scenes have been explicit.

Re: True Blood
I enjoy true blood a lot! Havn't munched on episode 2 yet from season 3 so definitely will do that now.
- Spoiler:
- I didn't like the entire Tara story. Never did, probably never will. Along with the entire maenad thing. Hoping they'll make her die a silent death in season 3. I'm agreeing with Nox here. Her character annoys me limitless and doesn't seem to have anything new to offer instead of being the same ol' whiney-aggresive-crying nuisance >.< Does anyone actually like her? D:

- Yeee, TARA HATE xD Though I got an idea where she's going in S3 having the read the books and all. Though she's MUCH less of an important character in the books, yay.
@Billiam
- Spoiler:
- They were werewolves. Empowers them instead I suspect, and Sookie is... well Sookie

Pfft, can't see anything bad with a squad of sexy vampires worshipping me as their goddess and doing anything I tell them to do... My, I think this could be quite a nice little adult novel.
- Spoiler:
- Hum, okay then.
How can you not like Tara! She's awesome! Love her attitude towards people who bug her, probably because I am so bloody nice and coward myself and wish I had some of that OMPFH in me.
Lafayette is the bestest, though, and Sookie's cockiness is awesome... Jason is cool because he's so unique as a hero-character and Jessica I like because she's great. Gah, hard to pick a favourite character. I kinda like that vampire queen because of her yatzy and her ways of playing with everyone to lighten up her boooring un-life.

- Spoiler:
- I'm a bit disappointed with the way Tara developped. She was awesome in season 1 and in season 2 she became a total I-don't-know-what-you-call-what-she-became ... I hate the storyline revovling around Tara and that weird bull woman who's like an orgy machine or whatever...
God I'm so let down the other plots are really nice though, especially Hoyt and Jessica! They're so adorable <3.
