Yeah....WHAT A WUSS! *bubblehearths away from Ced's wrath*

I remember a discussion Kozgugore and I had about some sort of interfaction jousting tournament at the Argent Tournament grounds. Both factions would have some kind of subtournament from which two champions would emerge - one per faction. Those two, the champion of the Horde and the champion of the Alliance then joust in some kind of finale for the honor of their specific factions.

You have some nice props, too. Like the stage due south, some tents on the northwest end, and of course an empty jousting ring. We could also organize a faire during the tournament, including a street theatre, a strongest man, a fortune teller and merchants (just some suggestions). Naturally it is encouraged to /spit on the audience from the opposing faction for tension's sake. :-)

Still sounds fun, anyway.

EDIT: of course the champions would not only fight for honor. Like any athelete they also fight for money, power, fame and women.

There is a constant battle between Horde and Alliance NPC's at the Vengance Landing. We could have our own "Omaha Beach" event there. Horde starts in their city, Allies on the ships at the sea (The fleet with sick crews, but it can be ignored). Then, Allies make landing and try to take over the Horde town. The battle between NPC's, will even make this event look more real.

I think you can find a post elsewhere on these forums that include a newspaper about the Whitestar tournament. It was supposed to the be Alliance alternative for the one we of the Horde held last year, but ironically... the Alliance one was won by an orc too. D;

I'm working on a RP-WpVp event idea whereby Horde attempt to steal the bomb from the belly of the skybreaker and fly it towards Wintergarde, with the intent to destroy it and Naxx in one violent sweep. Right now i'm formulating details regarding the lead up, during and aftermath.

Obviously Alliance guilds will need to be contacted to see if they are interested in fighting/defending. Whether it be they find out about the planned bombing and proceed
to plant a fake bomb in place. Or to shooting the Horde wyverns carrying the bomb from the sky. dunno...need to contact either Fordragon Company and other relevant Guilds.

Hey, as long as I still can kill the LK, he´s not dead to me. The problem with northrend RP for me is the atmosphere. It´s hostile and not really fit for casual RP, unless in settlements, which, on horde side, save for the undead towns and Agmar´s Hammer, are major crap imo.

Edit: I'd like to see an official blizzard lorefix to Illidan first, before I assume him dead. AFAIK, there has not been one.

I on the other hand usually assume that if an NPC can die, following an instance or a quest chain then they can be assumed and possibly are dead.

Illidan, the Lich King, Galen Trollbane...etc.

The only people I suppose this wouldn't apply to are the faction leaders...But then again, thats a PvP achievement and doesn't follow any questing chain.

You do get an IC letter from Thrall with a bear mount attached.
