The Treaty of Darkshire

The Knights of the Ebon blade have been endorsed by Highlord Tirion Fordring of the Argent Crusade, former knight of the Silver Hand, former Lord of Magdenhold and officially declared as allies by the decree of His Royal Majesty King Varian of Stormwind, son of King Llane of Stormwind, of the house of Wrynn. In the light of their acceptance as friends and associates of the Grand Alliance, and considering the offer by the Knights of the Ebon Blade to provide assistance in combatting 'The Horseman' of Duskwood, taking into account the Council's delegation of the final descision into the hands of the Chapter of Holy Anethion, I Abbot Waldemar, Supreme Lector of the Chapter and successor of Anethion grant them this treaty of collaboration, and grant them Raven Hill, under the following conditions.

The Knights of the Ebon Blade:

1) resolve to eradicate the threat to the people of Duskwood known as 'the Horseman'

2) shall make weekly reports of their progress and agree that lack of progress can result in the annulment of this treaty

3) proclaim neutrality in Stormwind-Cultist as well as Alliance-Horde conflicts

4) shall not harbor any cultists, criminals or anything of the like in their territory (Raven Hill)

5) shall allow Stormwind Observers to fully investigate their site of operations at any time without prior warning, but hold the right to deny access to documents.

6) Will not approach Darkshire without prior inquiry

7) Shall keep the road from Westfall Bridge (including the bridge) towards the crossing into the valley free of beasts and the undead, and guarantee the safety of the passing merchants.

8.) Shall yield Raven Hill upon the request by the Stormwind Authorities for unlimited time and without prior warning should Stormwind desire to use Raven Hill as a base of operations against the Empire

9) Shall not damage the buildings of Raven Hill in any way whatsoever

10) Shall not deploy any Knight in Duskwood whose name has not been approved by the Military Government of Duskwood.

The Military Government of Darkshire:

1) Shall respect neutrality of the Knights of the Ebon Blade and not use the territory they hold for troop-movements or military traffic.

2) Shall urge all the personell to avoid hostilities with the horde-race Knights of the Ebon Blade within Raven Hill.

3) Does not bear any responsibility for Horde-race Knights of the Ebon Blade coming to harm outside Raven Hill

4) May annull this treaty without explanation at any time with 3-day warning.

5) Is not in any way whatsoever compelled to grant supplies or assistance to the Knights of the Ebon Blade

His Majesty the King and the Council of Stormwind:

1) May annull this treaty without prior notice or explanation

Appendix:

Following Knights have been approved, and are to be held personally and collectivly responsible for the observance of the treaty:
