[A][H][Neutral] Manaspark's Army
Manaspark's Army:
Edwin of the Manaspark Organisation is amassing a mighty army to combat the evils and injustices of the world, in a way that our incompetent leaders could never hope to achieve. If nobody else will uphold order, we shall. If everyone else loses hope, we shall not. If the world needs us, WE shall answer the call!
YOU can be part of this, YOU can make a difference to Azeroth, YOU can join Manaspark's Army.
If you have any interest in making the world a better place, please do contact your faction's High Commander or relevant Army superior, or make use of Azeroth's excellent postal services to send a letter of application. At least 98.7% of all applications will be accepted regardless of one's background.

Manaspark's Army has recently gone cross-faction, representing Edwin's belief that the faction war is rather pointless, and that effort should instead be put into keeping Azeroth safe as a whole. Its initial creation as an Alliance guild is directly linked to events that have transpired within Stormwind, mostly involving the "Stormwindian Warlock Controversy" and other happenings within the House of Yore. As such, the Army's events will be closely tied to occurrences within cities, both planned and random.
The idea that the Army is a gnome-only guild is completely false - any race that shares beliefs with Edwin may join (though some exceptions may be made), though gnomes (Alliance) and blood elves (Horde) are generally most likely to share such beliefs. As often stated by Edwin in character, the word "Army" is more metaphorical than literal, it is instead a group that accepts almost anyone may join: civilians, warriors, arcanists or otherwise.
As of the creation of the Yorian Resistance (which is also a cross-faction group now, since Yore has a group in the Horde), it is required to join the guild to be a true member of the Army. Otherwise, you are considered a Resistance member and cannot truly advance through the Army's guild ranks.
I do not expect the guilds to be particularly active at all times, but random RP with others both inside and out of the Army may lead to the eventual creation of more events. Meeting locations are not yet completely decided (especially for the Horde), though this page should be updated when they are.
Guild members are also encouraged to wear purple coloured gear along with their "fabulous purple tabards", but this again is completely optional.
Ranks in the Army:
Unproven - All new recruits start at this rank, and are not yet considered "true" members of the Army. They are promoted when they are shown to have done something which benefits the Army.
Apprentice - The first true rank of the Army, though still often referred to as new recruits. If they are shown to be a valuable asset, they are promoted (depending on your faction's Captain-General, promotion rules may vary).
Soldier - The highest standard rank of the Army, generally well-respected within the guild, though they are still expected to take orders from their superiors.
Commander - A Soldier who shows exceptional ability or loyalty may be promoted to Commander, a general overseer of the lesser ranks. A Commander is expected to take orders from the Captain-Generals, though they are allowed a greater amount of autonomy. Commanders are also permitted to induct new recruits into the Army.
Captain-General - Your faction's specific leader of the Army. There are only ever two Captain-Generals (one for the Alliance, and one for the Horde) at any given time, though the role may change and be given to a different person as the High Commander sees fit.
Alliance Captain-General: (Currently Undecided)
Horde Captain-General: Tarthennian Sunwhisper (Tarthennian-TheVentureCo)
High Commander - The High Commander is the overall leader of Manaspark's Army, and is currently Edwin Manaspark himself. There can only ever be one High Commander, and it is almost impossible to take Edwin's role. The High Commander, of course, can order even the Captain-Generals.
High Commander: Edwin Manaspark (Edwîn-TheVentureCo)
[The Horde guild is yet to be formed, although it is confirmed that it will be soon™.]
