[H-RP-PVP] Venomspine Pariahs

Venomspine Pariahs
RP-PVP guild for the forsaken and the blood elves only. Venomspine is a faction that operates within Undercity and Silvermoon by gathering skilled individuals of all backgrounds to perform the more questionable tasks of the two nations. Due to the shady background of some members, delight for unnecessary bloodshed, cruelty and underhanded methods - the members of Venomspine are refered as Pariahs.
Roleplay and PVP
The idea of the guild is simply to combine RP and PVP so that one can play the game while roleplaying. We are planing to have IC duels in form of training and sparring, WPVP in form of guerilla warfare in the enemy territory or repelling Alliance invader's from our cities. We are a small guild so doing those hit and run style of attacks can get quite exciting when you notice that you are being chased by many players.
Who can join?
Every forsaken and blood elf of any class. You don't need to be a pro pvp-player or an experienced roleplayer to join. We are more than glad to help new players to learn the ropes of both pvp and roleplay.
Guild structure, ranks & the (lack of) hierarchy
Venomspine Pariahs are led by an Overseer who appoints missions and tasks to the other pariahs. Everyone else is treated as a specialist of their own career. All new members will be prospects and when they advance they get to pick their next rank depending how they rp their character - the guild ranks are not bound to a specific class!
A word about officers. The officer's role in the guild is in short to generate roleplay and manage recruitment and events. However in character the officer characters have no authority over members. This is to promote the athmosphere of being somewhat chaotic killers on the loose!
However as the Pariahs tend to be very individual and sometimes chaotic in nature they have two strict rules IC: Obey the direct orders from the Overseer and never kill a fellow pariah.
The Blackguard
Guild rank: Blackguard
The Blackguard acts as the infantry of Venomspine. The Blackguard will accompany pariahs in any mission when the threat of violence is present. Blackguards excel in wide variety of skills when it comes to spilling blood. Many of them prefer to take on their enemies in close quarters, but some are also adapt with ranged combat. Their abilities are not only limited to physical abilities, some of them use dark arts to empower them in the field and some are even said to use the light to smite their foes.
The Deathweavers
Guild rank: Deathweaver
The Deathweavers are the battlemages of Venomspine. With arcane, fire, frost, shadow, and fel the deathweavers provide the pariahs with heavy support and other magical conveniences. However their arcane art is not merely limited in tossing around magical projectiles. Instead they can use their magical knowledge to analyse magical items or even open portals to allow the pariahs move swiftly and unnoticed to the enemy territories.
The branch of Shadow
Guild rank: Shadow
The branch of Shadow handles the most underhanded missions in Venomspine. These missions mainly include gathering information, acquiring specific items and assassinations of vital targets. The shadows have one of the widest skill set in Venomspine, giving them a versatile options how to complete their missions. With cunning, stealth and lack of honor there is no moral standard low enough that the shadows wouldn't find a way to go under it.
The Preservers
Guild rank: Preserver
The Preservers provide support to the Venomspine in form of healing and compassion. The preservers accompany pariahs in the battlefield to heal their wounds and shield them from harm. The preservers have superior diplomatic skills compared to the rest of the pariahs, making them even more valuable when dealing with other Horde forces.
The Cabal
Guild rank: Cabalist
Like preservers the Cabal supports the interest of the Venomspine, but in more aggressive manner. While some of them are able to heal and shield their allies from harm, yet many follow darker ways by drawing power from different sources such as demons, old gods - no-one knows what else. The cabalists are held responsible for most of the research done in Venomspine. In the Cabal the line between brilliance and lunacy is small.

- Story time:
- Somewhere deep down in the dungeons of Undercity a deathguard stood in a small room at the end of a corridor. The quiet little room was lighted by a few torches and at the back of it was a sturdy metal door, the floor was stained by fresh blood. The silence was broken by the sound of metal greaves hitting the stone floor and the guard turned to look at the corridor. He saw a blood elven death knight in dark armor and hooded cloak approaching the room.
"What happened here?" The death knight spoke with a chilling voice
" We were trying to bring the prisoner to the execution, but somehow he escaped from the shackles. Then he killed Wormface and Cassidy. But I managed to lock him in the cell." The deathguard nodded at the door.
"Who is the prisoner and how did he manage to kill the two deathguards?" The death knight sounded amused and frustrated at the same time.
"He is a former member of brotherhood of assassins, who murdered an undercity official. And the death guards... he snatched their blades before they could react..... The deathguard explained while looking at the floor.
"Open the door, I will go inside". Blood elf replied.
The deathguard picked up the keys from his belt and reluctantly opened the metal door. The small cell was dark and appeared to be empty if not accounting two corpses that were lying in the center of it.
"So they sent a dead blood elf to finish the job?" Echoed around the cell.
The death knight had no time to answer as a shadowy forsaken suddenly seemed to appear out of nowhere and striking at him - only to be stopped by dark energies which lifted the forsaken from the ground and choking him. The elf slowly unsheated his weapon and slashed the forsaken with a swift cut, felling him to the ground like a wet rag. The blood elf then slowly stepped on the head of the still twitching and squirming undead.
"I am not here to kill you, wretch." The elf grinned.
"Instead I will offer you a purpose, a place to be, a chance to sate your bloodthirst... and your past crimes will be pardoned. In exchange of your service. The elf pressed his foot harder at the undead's head.

As a guild are you more RP or PVP?
- We are an RP guild mostly, but our guild activity in the contested territories will most likely lead into conflict with the blue faction.
What does your guild activity include?
- Our activities include random/casual rp. In character patrols and scouting missions. IC attacks to the cities, roadside ambushes, setting up camps in enemy territories. Out of character (OOC) activities include bg:s, arenas, instances... Whatever ppl want to do.
Where are you based?
- We have our HQ in Undercity and recently we have been settling in to the Silvermoon.
I'm new to RP can I join?
- Yes you can! We are a newbie friendly bunch and we will help you getting started.
I'm a roleplayer, but I suck in PVP. Can I still join?
- Yes you can! There is no skill reguirements in our guild, just be willing to fight the blue side if we run into some in our daring ventures behind the enemy lines!
Do you have specific days for events?
- Not yet at least. We do something when we have players online.
I don't have much time to play / I'm casual / I'm leveling a gnome alt, can I join?
- Yes. We understand that real life comes first and people want to play their other characters too. The goal of this guild is to have fun and not to burden you with guilt if you have not logged in for a while.
How do I join?
- Contact: Nare, Asnasihr or Luciouz ingame. We don't have a webpage so catching us ingame in a way or another is the only way.

Would be nice to see some more Forsaken running around at least, and if it works with belves, why not? Poor belves having to stand the ever Forsaken stink though...

On another note, best of luck with this. I concur with Rhonya, more genocidal maniacs running around and striking from the shadows can only ever be a good thing.

Had to do some editing to the main post.
In the branch of Shadows it has become crucial to alchemicaly alter the skin composure of the smelliest dead due to discreet nature of their missions, which is why the belves with the most sensitive noses are encouraged to join the branch of Shadow.
However the said alchemical method to prevent excessive damage to the nasal nerves is rather complicated and unique for each individual, which is why it shall not be used to improve our diplomatic relations in the near future.
