Re: The WoW Token
Start of expansions and patches are the best time to make gold because people are so unaware of what things are worth. 2-3 days after WoD released stacks of 20 Blackrock Ore were selling for like 800 gold. That aside I don't think the token is a -Bad- thing just interested to see how much gold they value 30 days of gametime for what is £9.99 I'd expect at least 10k with how easy it is to make money now.

I predict a weird situation in the economy right after that is launched. Sure, things will balance themselves out quickly, but initially...
Imagine all the little Arabellas out there who wants to finally grab those grand expedition yaks. It'll be some 100000-s out of player hands and into Uncle's big pockets.
And all the guys with expensive items and mounts for sale who will push the prices up to get the most out of that previous group when they've proceeded to start buying BoEs.

Re: The WoW Token
Thank god then at least they're supposedly fixed in gold price. This shit works in EVE because economy is a huge part of the game, and is pretty well stabilized. WoW's is so easily fuddled up...

I am afraid it will range over 50k because even I can get 10k gold without losing my mind.

I rarely raided, and PVP never made me money. I pretty much played to RP.

I'm in the same boat.
Sadly rp doesn't earn you a lot of gold :')

Seconded. Someone in the Platoon tried to push me to raid but I don't find the gameplay in WoW compelling.

Especially in this expansion. I feel like there is so little to do except afk in the garrison.

I wish they'd made the garrisons more "unique", like you had much more to customise in terms of colours, styles, random doodads and stuff.

I've never made much gold of raiding when I've done that.. Professions though.. make some of those items you need daily craftables for and it normally nets you a decent amount of gold

Re: The WoW Token
Garrison missions and salvage (the two related) and some questing gave me a ton of money so far made up for the whole building making and even beyond that. On sieg i got 71k right now, I started out with less then 40k on him in WoD...
Note that i don't really farm, a dungeon or some other stuff and so on maybe add up to it but otherwise I don't do much if i did i'm sure i could get really high as some people mention.

Re: The WoW Token
I came into WoD having never gone about 15k. I had about 7k at the beginning of WoD, a month in I had 100k and up until 6.1 I had 142k. Making gold isn't too difficult!

Re: The WoW Token
I'm curious what the descrepancy is going to be between buying a token and selling a token.
The price that you get from the sale is fixed the moment you put it up for auction - However the price that ALL the token sell for is fixed the moment the token is Sold.
So I wonder if all the tokens are 50k to buy, will i get 50k if I put up my token for auction at that time, or not?
