RP outside of Stormwind

I'm doing some guild stuff right now, one I'm not exactly planning to advertise much yet, but the big thing about it is that we will mostly be RPing outside of Stormwind.

This brings a question to me, how many people actually prefer RP outside of Stormwind?

I would vote. But since when I played I was almost exclusively on horde. I think it's just bad and skews the numbers if I do.

Guild storyline events should be outside of major cities (unless your concept binds you there). Stormwind is for random RP. You're comparing two very different things in my mind.

There is a whole world (of warcraft) to explore!

I wouldn't consider Stormwind THAT random RP, since people still tend to clique up and RP within their own circles. It's more open than the rest of the world, but that's mostly down to how all the cliques are crammed in together.

I'll vote yes, btw. There's a helluva lore more interesting zones and potential for interesting storylines than just sitting in the generic fantasy city. Although I've hated Stormwind since long before I started RPing, since I've just always found it's layout uninteresting and aesthetics "meh". Later expansions did some way of fixing that, but it's still... eh.

More interested in the actual RP than where it's set. It's the content of the RP that's interesting.. not the background I have to look at whilst doing it. I can sit in a dark room chained to a wall and it can be as interesting as walking around an area outside SW dependant on the people you're with

I like RP outside of Stormwind, but not on DB. Not because of PvP, but because of the lack of outside-SW-RP.
