The Black Archives is a secret society of individuals bent on studying knowledge forbidden by law. It can in many ways be considered a research-center for the Dark Arts, kept together by a more or less mutual disdain for the Holy Light, and its Church. The Black Archivists carry out their profane business unseen by the outside world, promising its members the bliss of safety from the hands of light-dogs and lawmen, to study their fields.

Led by eerie whispers from the shadows, mysterious individuals with promises of power, or simply deep misfortune, men and women find themselves in this damned corner of the world, where death holds little meaning, and murder becomes the saluted rhythm of the lost...



What Are We?

The Black Archives are comprised by a varying arrangement of individuals, all with an affinity to the Dark Arts. It is a secret circle, spreading its tendrils into the core of society with manipulative purposes. It is an Academical Institution, harbouring tomes and artifacts of Dark Lore whenever an opportunity comes, and it carries a deep hatred for the Holy Light, and would cherish a day when the sky is blotted, and the chapels fall silent and grey.

The most reoccuring RP situation with the Black Archives tends to be our weekly gatherings, which are typically held at Fridays 8PM Server Time, where the hiding Archivists come together to mingle and maim. There are no strict ranking systems, seeing as we are a bunch of maniacs meeting in barns to talk about burning rabbits and whatever else maniacs talk about!

Who can Join?

With this, I must emphasize that the Black Archives is not a Guild, and does not make it a requirement of anyone to leave whatever guilds they are in. Joining would typically be in the interests of those who study the Dark Arts (duh), and those who hold a grudge with the church. Requirements are rather non-existent, guys. Just don't bring your squirrel-loving Pala with rosed cheeks!
