[A] Lakeshire in use?

Hey. Is Lakeshire currently used by any group or guild for anything?

A friend is thinking of creating a city-community there but not sure if anyone would mind, hence the check.

Regardless if there are people RPing or not; does it matter? Will it dissuade your friend from rping in lakeshire?

We are a couple of people occassionally rping around a house there that the chars live in, if that counts.

Probably not, but if he will roll in a big package and declare leadership over the village, it's polite to ask if there are others using the area, is it not?

Do remember that lakeshire is one of the metaphorical patches of grass in which aspiring pokemom trainers may find that a wild wpvp-fight appears quite often.

You can get lucky for some hours though. Or an entire day / evening if you're extremely lucky.

Aye but I haven't used it in months. More trouble than it was worth with the occasional gank-squads, if anyone else wants to take it and use it they're more than welcome!

We wanted to station the Band of the Brave there at some point, but decided against it. On a pvp server, contested territory is not a good place for a city community or civilian role-play.

Why not use Elwyn and Goldshire? I know Goldshire comes with a certain stigma, but there's really nothing going on there on Defias Brotherhood, ever.

Yes. Aware of his reputation and the grudges that people hold from roleplay years ago when one was new and inexperienced, it was me who made the forum post to get serious response to the question. If someone have a problem with the player, i do request you to PM me about it.

Ya already know my feelings on the matter.If he wants to RP Lord god almighty of a town he should go to a private server

Since Skarain hasn't fully explained the idea and it causes alot of confusion and misunderstanding. I want to clear things up a bit. I wanted to host a Voting for the Mayor of Lakeshire. Anyone can take part in it aswell as anyone can win if he has the support for it. I am not trying to run on ahead and declare myself Lord of Redridge.

I just felt like saying this right there, the room in the Inn when you go upstairs, turn right, and in the far back is currently rented by my character, Ranquen, unless someone declares to have taken it before me, ofcourse.
