IC storyboard BGs

- Similar to the Semi-IC RBG's, this involves an actual storyboard to follow out depending on wins and losses. For optimum results, and for WT To have the biggest effect, it would require at least a group of 5 for random BG's, or a group of 10 for rated BG's. Now the first test run I did of it last night went well as can be seen in the mission report but I'd like to share the idea with the rest of WT to use at their leisure.
Now, here is my template, and feel free to use it as you wish including change the way the arrows face depending on wins and losses, but here's how it goes.
This is the default set up, for a 5 game storyboard. Starting at the left at start, the "DM" of the event has to come up with a mission that WT can follow, and a list of results that will occur depending on the wins and losses. The story is not static, and can change at any given moment. If you feel you've accomplished objectives too early in your story by having a string of wins, you can always have reinforcements turn up that would not be there, should there be a consecutive string of losses for example. My advice for a 5 game BG, is to not make the outcomes too grandiose. Stick to 5 possible endings, with 4 "objectives" that can be met depending on the wins and losses. Follow the green lines for a win, and the red dotted lines for a loss, but also feel free to re-position which arrows point which way. As a rule of thumb however, never make an arrow go in the opposite way. If you win, you at least want to keep on the horizontal, or go up a "tier" on the endings. If you lose, you can only go down, or stay horizontal (so don't make wins give you a worse ending, or losses give you a better ending).
In action, it will look something like this.- Spoiler:
As you can see, as we lost the first game we started at the bottom with the red filled in box, and then proceeded from there to have another loss, a win, and two further losses. The four objectives of this storyline, was eliminate the Kor'kron, secure the Meats, secure the Wines, secure the Plans. WT ultimately failed all four objectives last night.
You may also note that in some stories, certain events did not happen. Reinforcements come to save the losing caravan in a Win, Win, Win streak, but the same reinforcements are nowhere to be found in a Loss, Loss, Loss streak. In a loss, win, loss scenario, WT are forced to use a Kodo against the Kor'kron, but in a loss, win, win scenario, there is no mention of a Kodo and instead a Dark Shaman has appeared on the field. Later on in the week, I'll be making a second storyboard that people can participate in, but I'd like to make this style of DMing events available for all to use as and when they wish to lead an event. It also helps if your team you are working with have some pre-RP discussion about their mission so the DM understands the capabilities of their "team", and can write up a report accordingly. As there'll be little to no actual RP, if your DM understands your characters strengths, then they can write more in line with your characters strengths/weaknesses. ((Such as Elena of last night being a Rogue, but ICly being a Sharpshooter. I wrote that up according to her IC strengths as opposed to her OOC class.))
