Wages and terms of service negotiated on an individual basis

This is (duh) the recruitment poster for my new noble house, House Ashthorne. We are, as is apparent in the IC section, looking for some additional servicemen to make up the in-guild social roleplay catalysts. We're based in Surwich, but will oftentimes relocate to Stormwind when it is beneficial/required from our IC situation. As such, we have plenty of opportunity to carve out a home for ourselves while not alienating ourselves from the Stormwind community.

Concept wise, the Ashthorne guild differenciates itself from the rest of the nobles by having a very liberal stance, as well as secretly carrying the pledge of 80% of the family being warlocks/other dark magic users. If you wish for your char to get involved with either the dark magic, or the political facade of the guild, don't hesitate to contact me and we'll figure out a role for you that allows you to do this.

Positions:

Positions of greater authority

• Consular (Recruitment status: 0/2)

These are the personal advisors of Lord Nathaniel and his wife, Lady Lilith, one is hired for each of them. They are responsible for representing their respective noble to the public, and report directly to their respective noble. They are in turn given mandate to represent the house and make decisions on behalf of their Lord/Lady when in service.

• Champion (Recruitment status: 0/1)

The Champion is the favoured knight of the House, having proven his worth in terms of combat prowess, loyalty to his Lord, along with all other qualities a knight is expected to have. He is the sponsored champion of the house when participating in tournaments and the like, along with holding direct command over the Ashthorne militia. The Champion answers only to Lord Ashthorne himself.

• Steward (Recruitment status: 0/1)

The Steward has the responsability of managing the servants of the house, coordinating their efforts to effectivise the Ashthorne estate and improve the quality of life for the family. He is the only non-family member who may hire servants to the house and answers directly to Lord Ashthorne.


Positions of higher importance

• House Doctor (Recruitment: 0/1)

Responsible for keeping the house family members and servants healthy, performs health check ups and such.

• Head Chef

In charge of the kitchen, and is one of the head organisers whenever the Ashthorne residence wishes to hold a feast.

• Stablemaster

Manages the Ashthorne stables, making sure the steeds are healthy and in shape.

• Knight

Knights in service of Lord Ashthorne. These people are officers of the Ashthorne militia and are responsible for keeping the guardsmen in line. They may also be sent as high profile bodyguards on diplomatic errands.

• Advisor

Advisor is an umbrella term for administrative servants. Lord Ashthorne has plenty of room for specialised advisors to keep track of his wealth, political endeavours and so on. These may be employed as diplomats and such for duties that do not require the presence of either Lord Ashthorne himself or his Consular.


Positions of minor responsability

• Stablehands

Assists the Stablemaster in keeping the stables clean and the steeds healthy.

• Servants(*)

Umbrella term, basically all household tasks are applicable to the servants.

• Courtesan

Certainly not a stranger to the pleasures of the flesh, Lord Ashthorne employs all sorts of exotic women with the sole task of acting as eyecandy. The company of the Ashthorne courtesans may serve as leverage to secure favours from others, or it may simply serve to comfort of the family members.

• Guards

Members of the Ashthorne Militia. Responsabilities include any service of a military nature that a Noble would need performed.


*As for servants, they come in two sorts. General servants, serving the entire family, or personal servants, hired to cater to one specific family member's needs.

As for races, the very highest tier of the guild is reserved for human characters, as is the Knight title. The rest is open for anybody who may have a character that fits.
