To break one's chains [Project] Orc-slave

The mud was thick, rancid and dark, you stand knee deep in it, your bloodied and chained hands aching in tension as you choke the life from the human, the human who hunted you, the human who would see you kept in bondage, starved, enslaved and tormented.

A roar rises from your gut, the snap of bone is heard, your hands shift from the filth, leaving the slain dog to float amidst the gore of battle, your red eyes turn frantically to your surroundings.

Hillsbrad, deep within the clutches of winter, rain pouring down on your greenskin and filthy hide, you pause, catching a breath once kept choking in your throat during the chaos of conflict, you recognise the figures of brothers and sisters around you, Orcs who have also earn't their freedom through siphoning fingers and bloodied knuckles..

They look for leadership and you find yourself wondering
Can an Orc truly be free, whilst he his hunted like a dog?
--

So, I'm a little uneducated in the lore regarding the orcs and what exactly went on with them being imprisoned by the humans, but from what I've learn't? (and feel free to correct me.) they were lead to freedom by Thrall and saw the encampments burned.

I'm proposing a project, of sorts, that focuses on a group of Orcs who escaped (During the chaos.) and ventured with each other across Azeroth prior to the forming of Thrall's Horde, a pack of vagabonds who struggled to come to grips with a new World and the ever complex issue of freedom and duty.

Now this could be simply story that's exchanged between characters, or perhaps it could even be performed in-game? I'm also open to the idea of it being a forum based roleplay.

if you're interested,
Please contact me on Dreadgase (Defias Brotherhood) or Serceen (Argent Dawn.) both of these are on Horde.

Current home server: Argent Dawn.

(Copied and pasted from the WoW forums ' Roleplaying ' section, although this is my post.)
And I realise these are a Defias server forums, but I'm open to the idea of it being on any given realm, depending on the support that is shown!

If you're open to it being on any realm, why mark it as AD?

Uh.

Defias Brotherhood forums for Defias Brotherhood RP.

Argent Dawn forums for Argent Dawn RP.

I am not being rude or nasty, (I've not read your concept at all), this is DefiasRP, not ArgentDawnRP.

I wish you the best of luck on AD, but I don't feel this thread should be here.

Edit: If you are open to it being on any realm then it's best to not classify it as being on AD, because then you're simply advertising AD RP which ^ is covered above.

Yeah it was probably a move in poor taste.. but what can I say, I like the concept, and I want some experienced roleplayers to be involved and well Defias has a lot of those.

Must we draw lines up.. aren't we all children of the Roleplaying Gods..?

That being said, I'm reminding peeps, it's open to be on ANY roleplay server.

Well, why not PM people you'd like to see get involved with it and put together a few from your friends and then let it open slowly? It won't be on the same scale as AD RP but that would never diminish the quality of the RP event you'd have.

After all, quality of RP is not defined by having two, or thirty people.

Best of luck anywho

Because I like having an open project, where newcomers can approach it without having to know anyone or even know the premise of the server.

Thanks for the blessin'!

During the time in the camp, most of the warsong orcs were free and running about Lordaeron, keeping their heads down if tht helps you at all. As Thrall was quick to vanish to Kalimdor there could have been orcs left behind. (I think the frostwolves remaned hense AV).

Thanks Lex! that's pretty helpful!

Anyone know a source of information for the liberation of The Orcs?
