Very utopian :3 It would need a system of 'dots' I once saw on Second Life, a long time ago, where you assign certain parts of your model to assume the desired position / movement, I think.

I agree, wow desperately needs an ERP engine.

Does MRP have all of the quick button for taking hat on/off, short description box, full name comes up when typing + titles? Because that is all an RPer really needs! All of these "states" where people are like "This character is insightful" can be found out by a minute of conversation with them, I never saw the point in those silly things.

EDIT: And lets move on from ERP! The amount of people who go "Fight ERP!" and then are poking it in late at night... Dirty buggers.

Some character have a certain trait that aren't always emoted/acted out, but still a constant on the character, the states would allow you to imagine this more easily.

Thrakha has 'Angry' state all the time, and even though it isn't always obvious, thanks to the state, I always imagine her as very angry or annoyed when around IC!


But other states were more silly perhaps..
And other than that I agree with you, last I used MRP in ancient times, it didn't have all the listed attributes above, which is a sore shame.

Hat/cloak on/off could be really useful, though. Hello Allonia! Saw you in Krasarang last night

I use MRP + a tiny AddOn that provides a hat and cloack toggle. The only thing I miss is being able to change your class name, I like the little bits of flavor that can add. Especially on Zombini, who isn't supposed to be a death knight but a zombie, it's very nice to be able to change that.

That is what I used to use.

As for "states"
In MRP there is a small bar for a short description that only shows about 15-20 signs.
So "Angry, twitchy" etc fits. WHile you can't write a mini biography.

The mini biography was never really necessary in "current" anyway.

I know right, that's so nice about MRP; You're not able to stick an abundance on information in there.

The one thing I do miss is the custom character Icon, that was a really nice touch in TRP. (And, as I mentioned before, the custom class name was nice too.)

Is it just bugged for Pandaren? I mean, if we don't play Pandaren, is there any need to go back to MRP?

I'm not currently playing, so I wasn't sure if it was just a pandaren issue or if there's bugs for other people, too.

It only seems to be the Pandaren that it will not work with.

I am myself using (as a Worgen) TRP2 with no problems. To my knowledge the problem is only with Pandaren.
