[H / Blood Elf] 3rd meeting of the 3rd Silvermoon Council. 26 June 2012 at 21:00 GMT+1

Sin'dorei,
In seven days the 3rd meeting of the Silvermoon Council will be held. The location and time stay the same, nine bells in the evening in the Blood Knight Temple.
At the moment three topics are on the agenda:
- Tiffane Blightleaf will present the candidates for the positio of champion.
- Seras Tenderheart requests extended jurisdiction in light of the increase in thieves.
- A discussion on the relation between the Silvermoon Council and the "Gathering" of horde leaders that is to be held in Quel'thalas on the 5th of July. More specifically the extradition of prisoners will be discussed (from the last meeting). Supreme Judge Aishling Silversun will also share her knowledge on the subject.

Topic 1: Relations between the armed forces (internal and external.
Presented by: Celistra
- Vengeful can be considered part of Quel’thalas’ defenses. Falls to an extent under Celistra’s jurisdiction.
- Should discuss with the Silvermoon armed forces who are willing to aid other Horde forces.
- Request to meet with other horde military forces granted. Maybe add a meeting for the leaders of the armed forces to discuss strategies and tactics.
- The Farstriders have been through a reformation, Celistra has spoken briefly to one of them.
Topic 2: Inquiry over the importance of religion.
Presented by: Emrys
- Public request for citizens to contact Emrys over their religious preferences. Depending on the outcome, public sermons may be held and the priesthood made more accessible.
Topic 3: Extradition of prisoners.
Presented by: Nessra
- Up until now there has been a deal with the forsaken to exchange lawbreakers. However the orcs are against such an agreement.
- Without the input from Councilor Anadira, department of diplomacy and Supreme Judge Aishling (former ambassador?) no definitive decision was made.
- The discussed solution involved the demand that if a Sin’dorei is trialed in foreign lands, that a Thalassian representative is to be sent to observe the proceedings and help the Sin’dorei if needed.
Extra topic: Silvermoon Council and “Gathering” interactions.
- The council and the Sin’dorei involved in the “Gathering” need to discuss how to incorporate the new council in the “Gathering” proceedings.

Hello everyone!
I'm afraid I've been denied access to the computer for a while..
I was in a car crash this weekend, and my neck and back doesn't rally Word the way they should just now. So I have to stay away from the pc for a couple og weeks.. (or Get a new desk/chair, which I can't afford just now)
I will be back asap, but I'd understand if you want to elect a new Counsilor of Diplomacy.

So, the council has given the role of the Blood Knights over to the Farstriders in what seems to be a knee jerk reaction to the thieves hanging around Silvermoon for a week. So, you guys are pretty much going with the, yeah we can do whatever we like approach?

We are going in the "we don't have a problem with that" approach.
Edit: Don't know who and what kind of thieves are finding themselves in Silvermoon. There have been times in the past were, to phrase it politely, military intervention was required.
If it turns out the Farstriders don't need need to assist (Like Tiffane saying:"It's ok now, we got this."), then there'll be another meeting and the Farstriders will be relieved of that particular duty.
And if you think it's been "handed over" from the Blood Knights to the Farstriders, then you've been missinformed.

That doesn't seem like it's any different. You've simply acted with the input from only one party. Why not find out if that assistance is actually needed before granting that extended jurisdiction?

If the Blood Knights turn out to have a problem with it (the one/those attending either not hearing/not having the authority/reporting it afterwards), then it will be dealt with IC. For that matter I don't think those not representing the Farstriders, the Blood Knight Guard or Sin Belore had any concerns that weren't dealt with.
Under ideal circumstances Tiffane would have been there, unfortunately she was not able to come. Nothing to complain about, only means one has to adapt.
From previous experiences it has become obvious to me that getting stuck in discussion won't lead us anywhere. One of the topics already is.

I would have preferred to bring this up in character and in game but it seems very few councilors actually roam around Silvermoon in the day to day.
