Children's Week Ball and Auction

Come one, come all! It is Children's week!

A week when we set aside the conflicts of this world and remember those left behind, the sons and daughters of our fallen heroes that have no home to go to. These children, despite our best efforts do not live well, and when they come of age they are thrown into a cruel world without many chances. Here in Stormwind we seek to reverse that cycle and thus we are going to hold the First Annual Children's Week Ball! All citizens, aristocracy and visitors to Stormwind are invited to attend this beautiful ball, dress in your finest and bring your bag of gold because there will also be an auction!

And not just any auction! We're going to be auctioning off some pretty unique prizes! Including.. A dinner for two with some of the most eligible bachelorettes in Stormwind! So come along and donate, dress your best and you could be going home with a lady on your arm and a sense of pride in your heart!

Right I need a man or two! And another few girls! If guildleaders could make their members aware to this, i'd love to get a good turn out! Also still need waiting staff, may resort to the girls serving.. Haha!

Right! Updated the main post with auctionees! Still unsure of location, but just spread the word. Do you think people would be opposed to auctioning 'rp' items, for example a set of ear rings once owned by the late Queen or a book once owned by Medivh. Items that -could- be what they are but probably aren't but it's something you can brag about having?

Don't really see why not. I mean, the items can easily be auctioned and be complete fakes it's no huge deal. 'til the people auctioning them get caught out anyway x)

Also, is someone running the recluse these days? Could always ask them to host the event. Unless you wanted to hold it elsewhere. The area behind the Cathedral, before the graveyard of course, is quite nice.

I'm really unsure on where to hold it.. It depends how many come! But I won't know that until the night.. It's either gonna be the recluse or the Council Chambers.. Why did we turn the Dwarvish Embassy into a bank.. /wrists

There is a guy running Blue Recluse i think, he even made a guild for it: < Blue Recluse > (or The-). I recommend to try talk with that guilds members if you spot them.
