I fangirlgasmed. Singing dwarves do that to me.

In all honesty though, it's nice to show how they try to stay true to the books somehow with this trailer alone by showing they don't shy away from one of the many songs that were in the books. It certainly does hype me up.

I love the singing.

I'd actually kind of forgotten this was coming out, but it looks very sweeping and epic, as it should be!

I squealed like a girl when I saw it, and I have watched it over 20 times for the dwarven chant already.

I squee- err... I made a manly roar to express my contentment.

Mostly, I'm pleased to see some of the same faces and names return that made LoTR so nice.

I hope people remember this.

On the other hand, me too, JP. It's lovely to see the familiar mysterious character of Gandalf, and the new, rich characters of the dwarves of Lonely Mountain.

It's impressive how graphics changed from The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) to The Hobbit (2011). Ah, apparently the whole movie will be divided in two parts, to come out on December 2012 and 2013 (if we're all alive).
Anyway, I'm reading the book again to celebrate the release of the trailer <3

I have to wait this for a freaking year?

I better write a note or better yet, burn/cut/carve the "note" on something that doesnt corrode as easily then place the "note" in such a well protected and hidden place that if our civilization advances so much in millions of years or more, and we are not all dead by then. Possibly we'll find enlightenment and stop being assholes. If there is only a chance that our civilization lasts and evolves tehcnologically, we may find the secret to time travel. That way i could get the extented version of that given to me by a time traveler. I'll of course say in the message that i met a time traveler while i was writing the message, so they'll think it's supposed to happen... then again if they do it, it's happened for them, and is supposed to... i started to hurt my brain.

I liked the movies, but during each movie, i felt like they missed a a lot, as if they took a dump and skipped wiping, but then again, i understand they cant make a 89 houer movie. The movies were good, but books were better, yes. Not just saying this to look smart, i actually read the books! I blame my brother for being a bookworm and i am proud to have read the books BEFORE the movies came out! I havent read Hobbit yet tho.. :S

Movies. Never read the books. I don't like reading the books after I've seen a movie.

Sooooo looking forward to this!! The song made me cry!! xD
My dad read the hobbit to me when i was a kid, and he'd sing all the songs (with his own melody, of course) But the melody was a lot alike the one they dwarves sang here, so I was all "AAAAAAWWWWWH!"

As for LotR though, I adore the movies, but the books are still better. I've been a sworn Tolkien fan since I could read though, as my dad pushed me into the fantasy genre.

But yes, looking forward to the Hobbit!!! *Squeeee*
