[H] Recreating the Horde Gatherings

In the past, Horde guilds used to organize a Monthly gathering in where Horde RP Guilds gather up for Roleplaying.

These events have been on a break some time now.

Would there be interest among Horde roleplayers to bring the Monthly Horde RP Guilds gathering event back?

My ideas around the gathering would be following:
-Organized once per month.
-Hosted by a different guild, in different locations each time.
-Have the Gathering to last 3 days in a row, turn the location it is hosted in into a temporary Roleplaying Hub, with some sort of Events for each day.

Essentially, my idea is to turn the Gathering into a 'larger' Gathering. First day might be simply about recapping what each guild has been up to IC and plan for the future while. Second and Third day might be something about "display of skills", contests, tournaments or other things where the guilds members can compete against eachother in a friendly fashion / or display what their guild is extremely good at IC.

Horde guilds tend to usually do "their own thing" most of the time. Having these Gatherings that bring them together, even if temporarily is bound to create interesting RP, as they can create interesting situations of those very different characters of different guilds meeting eachother.

Still vague ideas. The ideas can always be shaped out further with those interested.

So, anyone of the Horde roleplayers interested?

I like the idea; Horde RP was - in my opinion - at its best during RP-PvP campaigns when all the guilds were staying in the same place. This ought to do the same trick.

Also the theme fits the Horde a lot better than a weekly council-type political event would.

Alright. My work schedule has become more clear, so going to go forward with this project.

Only an one-evening thing, as a start. Just a general meeting, talking on how people are, sharing some plans, plots, so-on.

Depending on turnout, may make a different group for Members and Officers, so that we get the plans discussed without much background noise while allowing others to mingle in casual roleplaying.

How does 16th of March suit for the Horde guilds and leaders who reads these forums? Date is not yet nailed to the stone, but ideally... "some day next week that is not during weekend".
