[Blood Elf/Alliance]Purging of Dalaran

Well, it seems more and more people are getting to learn what (will?) happen in Dalaran. The Sunreavers are arrested and/or kicked out, and because of the questline it does give some interesting opportunities.

My magistrix, Aishling, would probably be send to demand a statement from the Alliance.

I would like to have a meeting with Blood Elves, and members of the Alliance as well(if there is any interest) to first have some talks about this. The Blood Elves were thinking of (re)joining with the Alliance as they saw Hellscream a threat, but with the purge were send back to the Horde. Ofcourse, we can let this escalate during the meeting, but still.

This event does have two questions that might need to be answered first. To what level are diplomats/generals/civilians aware of this happening. Yes, the Blood Elves are being spoken to by Lor'themar, and the Sunreavers are in Silvermoon. But Lor'themar and Varian had secret meetings. Would the humans/Blood Elves know?

Could there be a cross-faction meeting between the Blood Elves and the Alliance? Or is that not normal in times like these?

I don't think that many would know about any secret meetings and possible Belfs joining the Alliance again.

It would be better if nobody knows it, if it's up to the players to decided if they know it or not, I think we'd get an unrealistic amount of people knowing something, since it also forces others into having to know it.
The more people know it, the more the chance is that non-belfs would find out.

Rumours there may be, but they could easily be dismissed as attempts to discredit the Regent-Lord.

Sounds epic, count me on on Alorah! My only concern is that we're still a little in the dark about how things are going to play out with this whole Horde being thrown out of Dalaran thing.

Then you crash it into Icecrown.

Fuck that, we've been building up tension since the last patch. Alliance is going to be enacting the Dalaran changes this week.

The way quests update now does not lend itself to waiting a whole patch. They are updating regularly, so RP should follow suit.

Well if we're doing quests to go around and smack the horde out of Dalaran I don't really see what good a meeting will do with the blood elves, unless they're actually seriously considering joining the alliance, because it seems to be that or exile.

A showdown between Silver Covenant-supporters and Sunweaver-supporters would be pretty nice.

Silver Covenant queldotards are taking advantage of the situation. I'm certain Vereesa is a bit unhappy her half-breed aberrations were left daddy-less, and would like some fel-flavored blood in return. o/

Isn't it part of the Operation:Shieldwall quests? So shouldn't you have a certain amount of rep before getting the quests?

And I will soon pick a date to play this. Two to three days arrangements might be a bit short so I guess the day after christmas?

Problem with this is that I am trying to script this too much. But the Blood Elves could want to negotiate the release of the Sunreavers or just complain in style and tension about what happened to the Sunreavers(civilians got killed in cold-blooded fashion) and want them to be a part of Dalaran again. There are numerous things to go with.

I am not doing the quests my self for quite a while, but still want to be part of the RP

Possibly Friday. Nothing set in stone yet though.

Ha~! Sorry, I meant two days after then, or perhaps that friday. In the Netherlands we don't call it Boxing Day, but the "second christmas day"... so I call Boxing Day still christmas, hence the confusion.

Yup. I will pick that date, otherwise I would have to postpone it until 2013.
