While I like MRP more, it's nice being able to see what all the rest of you have written.

I think the amount of users where TRP2 and MRP are concerned is pretty even, might even be leaning more towards MRP, so I don't think you'd be missing out entirely if you want to use the one you prefer!

So far I'v mostly seen TRP2 users on Defias Brotherhood, however AD is a different story, place is filled with people who uses MRP.

I agree with Thorvald. There is mainly TRP2 users around Stormwind. MRP is more common with elves.

Instead of having a butt-load of macros, you can use this to create a small / command and perform a handwritten emote.

Pretty much the same as AddEmote. Applies to all classes who uses pets.

Have your non-combat pet perform silly actions! They'll also react to some emotes you use on them!
I personally remove all under /sing. It's kinda annoying to have your pet start to sing "I love big-butts" if you're rping a serious char or are in a serious situation.

There's also an option to modify, incase you wish to keep some junk items.

i've discovered it's TRP, but I'm out of ideas on how to fix it.

Quite literally logged on and got the same thing.

It's not something you can fix. The author of the addon is working on a fix starting today. Check regularly to see if TRP has been updated, as the next update'll contain the fix.

I plonked this in its own thread before seeing this but as most people might not realize it's an addon thing I'll leave it for now. Regardless, excuse the doubley-ness!

indeed i got the same.. turned my trp2 off for now may go mrp if fix does not come soon

I shouldn't think the fix'll take too long. Glad someone posted a warning in here though :p I shall disable it before I log on.

Now I am having some trouble with TRP2 as well..
It started with the addon not updating data, when people edited text in their TRP2.. Like it was stuck in a hole..
Then I tried deleting player-data ingame in the addon, but with no luck.. Since then it didn't even load the TRP2-created names..

Latest I've tried reinstalling it.. Didn't work either..
Anyone who have experienced this? It sucks...

I've tried MRP, but I honestly liked TRP better

Now I just disabled the GHI addon, which actually worked out.. But why?
I thought the compatibility issues were long-gone..

Unless things have changed MRP is still majority addon on Horde.
I'm still sad I had to switch from FlagsRPS and the even more auster one before that. The less clutter in an RP description addon the fucking better.

As a MRP-user it annoys me that there are two tabs.

Less is more.

For now though, my problem seems solved, despite the fact I had to ditch my GHI.. Which sucks big time..

My own reason to use Total RP 2 above MyRoleplay is the fact that MyRoleplay is unable to show the full description of a character - people using TRP2 tend to wite an essay on their "current" information, and i want to be able to read that, despite because of that losing the option of having multiple profiles saved for alter-ego/disguises like MyRoleplay have an option to.

Skarain, then you peerpressure the TRP2 people into MRP!

Or Solopressure/Force/Blackmail!

I've never read anyone's full history. That is information is not for me to know, but for my character to find out.
