Oh wow. Colour me impressed. I might just have to start waiting for that game. (Not just based on that video but also on the facts that it's WoD and by the devs of EVE.)

'n other news, DA's Mike Laidlaw made a statement regarding the public's response on the game and dropped some hints on a DLC (or maybe more, can't say from the screens).

It is the year 1821 and the Grand Campaign has come to an end. Finland has taken her place as the rightful owner of the North. (And accrued sime infamy while doing it because I decided to go crazy in the last year...)

The 18th and 19th centuries saw the birth of American nations such as the USA (Washington DC area+parts of Greenland), Mexico (the pink blob in Central America), UPCA (on the west coast of North and Central America), Venezuela (pink blobs on the north coast of South America), Paraguay (near the modern-day Guianas), Brazil (small green blob where it should be), Peru (where it should be) and hmm...I think there were few others as well...Oh yeah! Quebec (the huge brown blob in Canada) and Canada (dark green area southeast of the Great Lakes).

All in all, I think this was my first finished Grand Campaign. Next time I'll either play Aragon or try how big I can get as England.

Been playing alot as the Papal State lately, and it's going quite well so far! Not that easy to see on the picture, but I've colonized Mexico, taken over Le Blob and taken mainland England, and I'm currently just eating Austria and Spain. Not like there's anything left that can oppose the great Pope!

I usually keep my Infamy under the limit, but I just wanted to see what The Papal State could manage, so I just attacked left and right.

I am indeed. But suddenly you reach a certain point in the game where you have no need of a huge omgwtfbbq army, fleet or having alot of CoT's monopolized, 'cause you've crushed anything that could pose a threat to you, and the rest of the countries you could easily just walk over 'em!

Speaking of threats, here's a fun snippet.

Fez holds Toubkhal (or however you spell it) and Ceuta. It has 3k army and 2 ships. It has, for almost a century now. Still, I find it so amusing that I don't really need a casus belli to GB because of it. See, they are allied.

And somehow, for some reason, Fez think that "Conquest of Portugal" is a plausible thing to say, when Portugal's Empire happens to have a 376.122 men army (2nd: 80k) and a 245 ships fleet (2nd: 55). Makes me smile every time.

And when I say "every time" I mean all 6 times they tried...

Most likely they think that way because they have GB backing them.

Do note, however, that "GB" is... -far- from strong now. ~8-10k army in a shattered island that holds Scotland, Great Britain, England (yes, separately. My vassal <3), Wales, Cornwall and Northumberland... and that's not taking into account Leinster&co. on Ireland, mind you. ^^ That alliance is... hardly a change that matters, if you ask me xD
