Shado-Pan roleplay?
Would it be possible? And if so, is there any interest for it?

Frankly I don't think this is a very good idea. There's very few people role-playing in Pandaria as it is, and lore-wise, all of your major enemies (The Mogu, the Mantid, the Sha) have been methodically eliminated by players trough quests. There's not much for you to do at this point, other than hang around on the wall and glare at adventurers that aren't there.

Nothing's impossible I guess.. Even though, as mentioned, the core enemies of the Shado-Pan were slain, they might still wanna protect the interests of their people.. And if little to none RP is to be found around Pandaria, then the Shado-Pan could send a delegation of representatives to either Kalimdor or Eastern Kingdoms to do just that..
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] were maybe the closest thing you would get in that direction.. Don't know if they are around anymore though.. If not, you could pick up where they left eventually..

You might want to check out [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], a Shado-pan role-playing guild on Argent Dawn.

Re: Shado-Pan roleplay?
The Falling Leaf Pandaren in the Path of Dawnchaser guild are being trained to be vigilant defenders of Horde Pandaren by a Shado-Pan Monk named Zuntzhui who has, with the lack of enemies in Pandaria, been assigned to the Falling Leaf.
The Pandaren people - whether they are from Pandaria or the Wandering Isle, are Pandaria.
At least that's how we're playing it. Not "Shado-Pan" roleplay, but eventually these students may become "elite monks" who essentially do the same as the Shado-Pan, only in Kalimdor.

The problem with venturing out of Pandaria for a Shado-Pan is it's going against their very core as an Order, they excist to protect the land of Pandaria. Suppose they might go after Garrosh for great justice later on but other than that.. I personally dont see why they would need representatives abroad since the Tushui and Huojin factions are taking care of their people there.(a bit simplified but you catch my drift) Then again, suppose "nothing is impossible" is also true, however personally I agree with the people above that it has become quite obsolete to RP.
As for Blooming Lotus; we have a lot of old and new characters with a Shado-Pan background but its usually just that.. a background. Lotus was always a pretty mixed group so even our military missions never had a "real" Shado-Pan feel or anything.

Here's my two cents.
1) - Get a couple of like-minded people to join you.
2) - Write an essay or a small introduction to your roleplaying experience that you can offer.
3) - Do events on a DAILY basis with these people to keep them interested
4) - Get in touch with the Blooming Lotus or any other group pandaren enthusiasts and reach out to as many people as you can.
5) - Roleplay as if pandaria is still surrounded by the mists and you'll have plenty of stuff to do.
Yes that's right... ignore everything going on outside of pandaria and the current timeline, simply make it a era inspired rp theme. The Shado-pan were most definitely a busy lot, either training or taking care of Sha misfits dealing with young inexperienced pandaren or grief riddled families etc etc.
If you really want to, you can make it happen, but it will require a lot of effort.
The biggest one being that you can provide fun and steady rp on an almost everyday basis for people so that you may prove that it's worth staying around for, considering that there are some setbacks such as not being able to rp with other alliance/horde guilds or generally the outside world.
Then again, Pandaria is HUGE and has plenty of material imo.

Again, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] is pretty much exactly what you are looking for. It's a Horde guild that exclusively does Shado-pan role-play in Pandaria. They're not big. but then again, can you really expect them to be with such a specific niche?
It's a miracle such a specific guild still exists, even on such a highly populated realm as Argent Dawn. It would be the height of hubris and pure folly to try and create something like that at the end of the expansion in which it was relevant at a time where actiivty is at an all-time low.
Alternatively, if you're looking for something more casual and on the Defias Brotherhood server, you could hit up my grumpy old bear: 'Paozi' on the Alliance and 'Shadopao' on the Horde. I organized small-scale [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].

Does the Order of the Blooming Lotus still wander around? They could fit a former Shado-pan I guess..

Apparently they're planning to wait and see if the rumoured "Shado-pan will do stuff on Draenor" pans out and may end up migrating that way when WoD comes round.

Talzu comeback
Greetings,, and I thank you for your hospitality.
The Shado-pan have sent several warriors to aid against the Iron Horde, however we can. We are few, though, and they are many.
