The Elite Task Force of Ironforge
- A testament to dwarven resilience
OOC:
IC:
Head of Command:
Task Force Commander, Moglim Steelfist [Bronzebeard]
Members:
Vonthic Brimstone [Dark Iron]
Olgea Stouthammer [Bronzebeard]
Sargos Thunderwing [Wildhammer]
Trial Members:
The role of the Task Force
To secure the safety and well-being of the Mountain Kingdom, honor the allegiance to the Alliance, and the union of the Three Hammers.
Leadership
The one to lead the Task Force will one appointed by the Senator of War, or the Senator of War himself. A typical assignment would be discussed in private quarters or directly in the Senate, it would in any case be a Senatorial gathering with the Senator of War present. If the assignment is decided on, and is to be carried out, the Senator of War will adress the Task Force directly, inform them of their task, and have them on their way.
Reason for joining the Task Force
You enter as a trialist to honor you faction or clan by hopefully becoming a member of the dwarven Elite.
You sign up as a trialist because of the big sack of gold and benefits you would recieve.
You are sent as a trailist by a commanding officer by your Clan or Faction.
You go on trial because you want to develope to the uttermost of your abilities
Requirements and Background
The Elite Task Force of Ironforge are hand-picked by the Senator of War himself for showing great or extraordinary skill in battle. These dwarves are given the hardest and most challenging of assignments. In a group of few they are expected to solve whatever task is laid before them for the good of the Mountain Kingdom. Tasks that if completed could spare many dwarven lives. As members of the alliance, the Task Force could also take on assignments that are to honor its allegiance. It is highly controversial, and only the dwarven Senate could decide on these matters.
To enter the Elite Task Force you are a lad or lass of great expertis, and is known for your great battle skill. The Clan is of importance to any dwarf, but to the Elite Task Force your fighting skill is all that matter. Some dwarves might be uncomfortable in this union of fighters, as there is a heavy mix of the three clans. The members will also be expected to represent Ironforge that is now home to the three clans, but some dwarfs feel reluctant to wear the Tabard and uniform. For these dwarves, Ironforge is still seen as the home of the Bronzebeard. To become either a Gryphon Rider Elite, Army or Temple Elite you are already a guard, mountaineer, gryphon rider or devotee.
The Expertis and Diversity of the Task Force
There is a big difference from the Elite Task Force and the rest of the army. The big difference is that there is a mix of ranks and dwarves from all areas of dwarven society. What they have in common is their battle expertis. It will be a challenge for any officer of any rank to make this unique varity of dwarves work together! The conflict and drama could render these great fighters unwilling to fight at eachothers side.
The Specialist Engineer
The rise and progress of technology has brought dwarves great advantages, and what would the Elite Task Force be without an Engineer. A force with more fingers, some might say. Bombs and explosives happen to be their speciality, and what better way to complete the task at hand than by the help of dynamite. Why climb obstacles when you can blow them up!
Requirements:
[Engineering]
Representative Gear:
[Flying Tiger Goggles]
[Red Lumberjack Shirt]
[Ironforge Tabard]
OOC:
Being an Engineer brings out some great RP aspects for the Task Force that will be interesting for everyone. To have an experienced Engineer to tag along can also bring other benefits like portable mailboxes, repair bots and exploding sheep! The gear is quite easy to obtain, I will not add the whole gear description in here, but if you have any questions on the pieces used in the photo post a reply to the thread. You will have to freedom to build you own set around the idea of the Engineer as it is displayed above. Feel free to add ideas, and come with suggestions about the description, there is always room for ideas and feed-back.
The Army Elite
The strong, proud, and resilient force of Ironforge. These Soldiers bear armor that would have any dwarf sink to their knees in exhaustion, yet they fight and march as it were a part of them. Defined by discipline and courage, some say these dwarves have the will to move mountains.
Requirements:
[Plate]
[Mail]
Representative Gear:
[Grimscale Plate]
[Knight's Mail]
[Orange Mageweave Shirt]
[Ironforge Tabard]
OOC:
The Army, mostly Bronzebeard, are the most disciplined and trained dwarves within the Task Force, and are often the one to lead the Task Force into battle. Over time I will add the mountaineer, the biggest problem is that there aren't any appropriate transmorg-able pieces for this set. The Guard on the other hand is almost fully transmorg-able. For Mail users there is the [Gurn's Horned Helmet] that look similar to that of the Ironforge Guard, plate however will have to settle for the [Grimscale Plate Helmet]. There are also a few replacements for shoulders that look appropriate.
The Dark Iron Elite
Fight in the shadow, many devoted to dark magic, and reckless metods. Metods that are immoral and brutal, but effective. These dwarves do whatever neccessary to complete the task at hand.
Requirements:
[Leather]
[Cloth]
[Plate]
[Mail]
Representative Gear:
[Orange Mageweave Shirt]
[Ironforge Tabard]
OOC:
This group of dwarves is very versatile, and I know for a fact that there aren't any gear restrictions. Build your set around the idea of the Dark Iron, and find some inspiration in the image above. I would be very helpful if we had some players of the Dark Iron clan that could add some additional information to what I have developed and added already.
The Gryphon Rider Elite
The winged and sharp elite of the Wildhammer Clan, ferocious fighters who wouldn’t get on one knee if so they lost the one leg. They will face whatever task is laid before them, even it be insurmountable. Driven by will and courage, these dwarves are not to be quarreled with.
Requirements:
[Mail]
[Leather]
Representative Gear:
[Gryphon Mail]
[Orange Mageweave Shirt]
[Ironforge Tabard]
OOC:
The Grypon Riders consist of mostly shamans, but I understand that there are exceptions. So I've added leather, as some leather pieces similar to the gryphon mail set exists. The Gryphon Riders will be the ones to do the scouting and flying around, which will bring great and fun aspects to the Roleplay. The task force will be built around PvP, but we will add a lot of RP-elements to how we play IC. This is not something that will limit us, it will just make the experience a whole lot more interesting.
The Temple Elite
The healer and pacifiers of the Ironforge Elite, known for their humility and courage. These dwarves bring righteousness and clam to the task at hand. As guardians of the light, devoted to the makers and the good of all dwarves, they bring out the strength and morale to overcome the most challenging of tasks.
Requirements:
[Paladin]
[Priest]
Representative Gear:
[Orange Mageweave Shirt]
[Ironforge Tabard]

The Three Hammers have the ambition to improve in RP-PvP, and that is why we are creating this thread along side out offical one to reach out to those of you with the ambition, and dedication to improve in PvP. This 'Task Force' project have the purpose to bolster the dwarven army, but also bring more able PvPers into our dwarven loving guild. As we, the Hammers, always have been melee heavy we are especially looking to recruit healers and casters. For those of you that play these classes, we can always guarantee you a spot in our weekly Rated Battlegrounds, and W-PvP events. This does not mean we are turning down able melee classes, we are merely pointing out that casters and healers have priority.
This project is run by me and Olgea, and we hope that this contribution to the Dwarven military will improve its current state. The Three Hammers are by lengths the most successful RP-PvP guild on the alliance, and we intend on doing better. That is why we need able and dedicated dwarves to join our task force!
This thread has been taken from our offical TTH forum, but I've done some minor tweaks to it.

Very well put together and planned, I now understand why you are an officer of TTH.
If you get an opportunity post this also on your realm forum recruitment thread and the inter-realm role-playing thread, I am positive it will be highly appreciated should interested people click on the links and/or read into it.
Nice work!
